I often describe Valentine as a stylish action thriller -- exploring the deconstruction of the assassin archetype to show the method behind the mayhem and bloodshed. Valentine has been favorably
compared to the films La Femme Nikita, The Professional,
The Bourne Films and Kill Bill. Female characters that inspired
my idea for Valentine were Emma Peel of The Avengers, Modesty Blaise,
Linda Hamilton from The Terminator films, Dana Scully from the X-Files
and Marvel Comic's Black Widow. |
